The Music Subcorpus: 15,387 words, 43 scripts

My favourite form of listening to music is listening to MP3s. I always copy my audio CDs to my computer. There I have folder only for MP3s, divided by another folders in alphabetical order. It's really easy to find the song, that I want to listen to. To be honest, it would be hard to find the right CD in my room, because I'm a bit messy. This file format is really easy to use. I just put them on my playlist; zwether in Winamp or in other mediaplayers. I can have my own playlist, which can be so long as I want it. I can add more thousand songs after each other. I don't have to change the discs after every 10th song in the CD-player. I just burn my own MP3-discs with more zhoundred tracks on it. And of course, there's this new device, called MP3-player. It's much more practical and safer then the old CD-players.Unfortunately there are some serious problems with this format. You have to use and save them very carefully. If you take them into a folder, which is shared by other people on the internet, they can quickly and easily copy them without paying anything. But also, do not copy or save other people's MPs, because zthoose files can make you big problems via the viruses. One bad click, and you can loose all your files. And this is illegal too.Once I made this big mistake and I lost more thousands MPs. And other files, like photos, videos. I got a serious virus, and to clean my computer I had to delete all my files; and to install a whole new Windows software. It took weeks to copy my audio CDs back to my computer. So, stay careful with this file format!Nowadays, music is one of the most important part of our life. I think, everybody loves music, because it evokes different feelings from people. I like listening to CD's because cassettes are not so fashionable today. If I don't have to do anything I'm just sitting down and enjoy the music but if I am cooking or doing something at home I rather listen to the radio. It's easier because I don't have to carry the CD player with me. Because I have only a portable CD player.CD's are good and useful because there are a lot of innovations, and the world is improving. I can't really use my old cassettes just buy I new one. With the help of the CD I can download zmusics from the Internet and I don't have to buy a new. This is really expensive nowadays to buy a new one. The MP3's player give you the chance to have 2 or 3 times more music in one CD. While in the cassettes you have 10 or 12 zmusics in a CD you have 20 or more. You can listen it when you want but you can go to a concerts if it's organised and when it's organised.I can't really find bad feature of it. Maybe I can mention one thing which is really important. You have to take care of CD's because they are more sensible than cassettes. If you hurt the surface of a CD you can't use it anymore. Because you destroy the codes on it and you can't listen to it again.I used to have a lot of favourite bands, and one song which was the best for me. But those bands are nearly disappeared just 1 or 2 of them which are still existing today. I couldn't find my best song anymore. I tried to find it in a lot of shops and different places, but I didn't managed to have to. It was in Christmas, two years ago when I got a nice gift from one of my friend. It was a CD which contains all of my favourite songs which I have been looking for for a long time. She had downloaded those music for me from the Internet, because she knew that I want them. This CD was my nicest and most memorable present which I've ever got.I go to school by bus everyday which means about three hour on bus per day. It would be unbearable without listening to music during the trip. My favourite form of listening to music is via MP3 player. It is a small gadget, which can store music tracks in MP3 format. The more space it have for the tracks the much it costs. As for me it zworths to buy one. You can listening to music by earphones so you don't bother the others and have a great musical experience meanwhile.Having an MP3 player has got several advantages. It's much smaller than a walkman or CD player thus you can take it with yourself more easily. The tracks on it are chosen by you - one by one - so you listen to only such music which you like. You will have your own playlist and you can selecting among them only by pushing the buttons. Never would it be possible with a CD player for example to be able to have with you so much music in such a small thing. On the other hand we shouldn't forget about its bad features. If you don't want to spend big money on batteries you should purchase one with accumulator. Having such a developed technology it became more likely to have some problem in working as it is with the modern mobile phones. Your earphones get broken inside if you don't care about them enough and simply put them into your pocket or the menu of the MP3 player will have some problem; these are not rarities. One morning I woke up in a really bad mood. I didn't feel like going to school let alone having an exam. But I hadn't any choice. The previous day I had uploaded some new tracks on my MP3 player so I was listening to these items on the whole way to school. Those tracks were so mellifluous that my bad temper passed away and I became even cheerful. The music raised my spirits so much that I performed in the exam so well that I got a 5 grade. Hadn't been it for my MP3 player, I might have failed the exam.Listening to music is more and more popular and important, especially nowadays in our rushing, busy life. Music makes our grey weekdays a little more colourful, whether we hear it on tv, in the radio or from MP3. A familiar nice tune always makes us relaxed a bit. My favourite form of listening to music is MP3s as it is the most developed technique at the moment.I think listening to MP3 is the easiest way of self-entertaining without zanoying others. Also it is the most practical as we don't need cassettes or CDs to carry around, only a tiny device which can store hundreds of our most loved music. Furthermore it can suites everyone as they're easily zmanagables. Dislike a CD, your MP3 zrepertoir is zcontinously changeable according to your mood or current taste of music. On the other hand there can be some bad features of it as well, mainly effecting music industry. Now, though Internet everything is easily and rapidly reachable; including music of course. People don't bother to buy their favourites for thousands of forints but rather download them by a single click. Whole albums are available, moreover concert-recordings as well. Despite this I think it's not that big threat, because people will carry buying CDs or going to concert as the difference is great. We won't give a copy as a present and we can't feel the actual mood of a concert through Internet. My story of buying an MP3 player is that firstly I thought it's just another type of symbol that shows zwealthiness but there were several times when I felt sad or miserable or simple bored zforexample during travelling when I wished to hear some good music. So I acted and bought one. And now everywhere I go, I can always take the music to cheer me up and entertain, so I don't have to have the feeling anymore that travelling is a waste of time.Listening to music is an activity we all need in our lives. It helps us unwind, get away from the problems of everyday life, have a rest or just simply enjoy ourselves. There are many forms of listening to music, including live concerts, walkmans, MP3s or at home on computer. My favorite form is the CD walkman. I just put a CD in it, zlay down on my bed and enjoy the pleasure given by music. It is very good because it can play MP3s, too, so the music can last for a long time as MP3's need smaller place on the CD.As many things it has advantages and disadvantages as well. The advantage is it's zmovability - I can carry it along with me almost everywhere I go. I can use it on the bus while I'm going to-, or coming home from the university, when I'm cooking in the kitchen or when I'm working on something that doesn't need concentrating. I always have it with me if I'm going on a longer trip - it's a great invention. The disadvantage of it can be the fact that it does not really give me the feeling as if I were listening it lively. Live concerts are always held at places with good conditions concerning sounds, voices, so you can feel that music surrounds you - this is not happening when I'm listening it on my CD player. It gives a similar impression but far not the same.I have mentioned that I always carry it with me if I go on a longer trip or route. Last time I did it when my family and I were driving to Budapest to take part in a Christmas Celebration. The route was about five hours long so I had many times. I listened mainly to Christmas songs to become spiritually, mentally prepared for this most important feast of humanity. When I hear the word: music, I can zself-conscienciously say, that it makes the Earth go around, it is part of the everyday life and people would not be able to live without it. Music for me, means strength, passion and fitting in a society. I have to admit, that I prefer live music and concerts to CDs or cassettes, because portable music players and zrecorderd music do not have the ability of making you feel that you are a participant in the world of 'Sounds'.As mentioned above, concerts give you the feeling that you are in connection with the musical world, they form a link between people of the same interest and taste. Music is an emotion, and concerts are the best ways to let you know, that you are given a company of hundreds of people, who are equals for two hours, and who are caring about each member, no matter who you are. Concerts let you into the vibe of the sounds, make you think, you are complete and they are erasing the cruelty and sickness of the outside world. For two hours, anyone can feel whole again, despite the impulses of life.Although it sounds perfect, nothing can really be non-problematic, as every coin has two sides. In my zoppinion concerts are like a dream world, but on the other hand, they can end up with a horrible outcome. Sometimes, zinspite of the fact that people usually behave as civilized man, there can always be a raging crowd, that tries to interfere with the harmony. That is the time, when vandalism occurs, and to mention anger (for no reason), the time when zaccidentaly someone would be kicked to death by people who know nothing about what they really are doing. After the shocking and non-understandable facts, I guess I have to say, that I have never been hurt during concerts, since I am a so-called "concert-goer', and zfortunatelly have never witnessed such a horrible and violent scene. I feel like I am lucky, because I have the opportunity to see my favourite bands performing live, and to make new connections with people whom I might not talk with when bumping into each other on the street. All in all, I can zrecomend this way of music to anyone, who is willing to be extroverted. Thanks to the technical improvements of the zXX-XXIth centuries we, the ordinary, average people of this era can listen to music almost everywhere and zeverytime of our lives. The age of live concerts and cassettes haven't ended yet, but more and more people enjoy music in front of their computers, or even walking on the street. MP3 players are common technical "toys" now and personally I highly appreciate the wonders of these little music-equipments. Walking on the street, or ztraveling on a bus you can always get the pleasure of music. We only need a headset, and the player and music is zaccesible at will.Good features of the portable music players - especially MP3 players - that they are small, their hard disc-drive can contain more than ten hours of selected music. The other good point of these devices is the various usage possibility. On the memory-core of these players you can keep movies, word documents and other zusefull things. And while ztraveling no noise will reach your ears a disturb you, as you plug in the headset and start the music.Of course there are downsides of this form of listening to music. There are a lot of accidents because people don't tend to pay attention to their "surrounding world". With loud music in your ears, can't hear the bus coming, or the yell of your friend who you didn't notice. Doctors even say that too loud music from headset - it directs the low, bass sounds right into your ears - can influence your heartbeat, and this is dangerous especially when you fall asleep with the music on.Sadly a bus accident happened to me not long ago, so I can say that I have already zexperianced the result of listening to loud music. Having a walk at Budapest I failed to recognise that a bus was coming from behind. The lamp of the bus had broken two of my ribs and the front lamp was broken by my ribs. But based on this not too pleasant memory I advise everybody to turn the music down a bit when you walk on the streets.Usually, I prefer live concerts as a form of listening to music. Either on a festival or in a small place: the experience can't be substituted with anything. These are always social happenings that makes them more enjoyable for me. This is the only thing that is still "trendy" since it has started. On a concert you concentrate only on the music. Nothing else happens at the same time. The people around you hear the same so it is a shared experience that makes it more complicated. You not only hear the music but you "see" it as well. There is the chance for the musicians to be spontaneous and produce something new. It is also a kind of interactive form. All the good features can turn bad. It depends on the person. There are people who like to think that their favourite music is dedicated to them. They connect it to their personal events. But on a concert is harder to create an inner experience. You can't be on your own or relax for a little while. If it's too loud you can't put the volume lower, or just stop it whenever you want.Last year I had the greatest experience on the Sziget Festival in Budapest. We spent the whole week there but there was one concert that effected me the most. It was an English band called Radiohead. We met French people there and danced together. I have never seen so many people before. The lights, the voice of the singer, the slow music together created a whole. maybe this special, unusual feeling is why most of music-listeners appreciate live concerts.Listening to music is the best way of relaxing especially if you have a good machine. My favourite form of music is MP3s. Having an MP3 player is useful because of its modern and high technology. Unlike walkmans it is very small, the difference between MP3 players is just that you can consume them with different zmegabites. These different zmegabites decide how many songs can you hold on it. Thinking it is the best way of listening the music may have pros and cons, too.The first advantage is that an MP3 player is very small so you can bring it where you want. Jogging, riding or driving with an MP3 player in your pocket is possible and amusing. Secondly, if you wanted good value of music without big financial problems you should buy an MP3 player. Thirdly, several CDs or cassettes aren't needed to use it that's why it is very comfortable. One disadvantage is that you can't buy MP3 music very simply. If you aren't a computer user you will have problems with it. On the other hand for instance you are running with an MP3 player when your battery doesn't work. Bringing new batteries is always a solution. The worst thing is when you aren't at home but you are really bored with the music but you can't change it.All this things considered I enjoy listening to music with my MP3 player. In fact, last summer I travelled abroad and I brought my MP3 player with me. Unfortunately, the machine fell into the swimming pool and I couldn't use it. Sitting sadly I tried to use it again and I managed to do it. The water in my MP3 dried out from it. That was a reason why I like it more than ever.In my pleasant time I'm always sitting in front of my computer. So I listen to music every day. What is my favorite form of listening to music? Perhaps the YouTube. The link of this website is very simple: http://www.youtube.com/. YouTube has a searching possibility, which means that you can write in the gap what you want to find. Then you say OK, and a list of the appropriate videos appears. You can choose which video you demand to listen and watch, and you click on it. I have to mention that on this website there are just videos if I know it well. This kind of listening to music has just one real advantage I think. This is that you can also watch the music. And not only music videos you can watch; there are also parts of films on YouTube. (If you are a YouTube user you will upload videos, too.) In my opinion that is a good fact that videos you can't watch on the television you might find on this site. There are at least two disadvantages belonging to YouTube. One of them is the quality of the sounds and the other is the quality of the films. In most cases the sound is quite correct, but rarely you can meet recordings which are horribly unpleasant. And the quality of the films is very distressing. It's difficult to realise who is who in the concrete video. But in spite of these bad features I often use YouTube. My favorite singer is Thalia. Recently I can't see her on television, so I must watch her performances on the Internet. The last important event she participated in was the Latin Grammy Award where she sang her song "Seducción" (Seduction). Of course I couldn't watch her performance on the television, so I was very curious and wished to see her. Therefore I used the YouTube. I wrote in the gap the expressions "Thalia" and "Latin Grammy 2006" and found a lot of videos which were the same videos by several users. Then I could watch the appearance of my best-loved singer, and I became happy...My favourite form of listening to music is MP3s. An MP3-player is not a cheap thing but it is very popular nowadays. It is hard to introduce it because there are a lot of varieties of MP3-players. It is usually a small gadget which we can also carry in our pocket. We can not only listen to music with it but we can also transfer zdatas with it. I have also an own MP3-player which is iRiver and a grey one.MP3-players are much better than walkmans or discmans. If you have an MP3-player you need not convey a lot of CD-s or zcasettes which need for example a lot of room in your handbag. You have to just save some music tracks on your MP3-player and you can listen to it everywhere you are for example on the street, in the bus or at home.A lot of people say that MP3-players have bad effects on ears, they harm the ears. It is only true if the MP3-player sounds very loudly. So be careful and do not listen to it at high volume. If you have any problems with your ears you should keep away from this machine and it is better to go to a doctor.I usually use my MP3-player while I am travelling. I live in Zalaegerszeg but I study in Pécs so I travel a lot. The journey can be very boring even if I travel alone. Mp3-player helps me to close the out world and I can a little bit relax on the long trip. I can listen to my favourite music without disturbing by other people. But there is a lousy thing that I can not sing because I am not alone.First of all I would like to tell you the truth. I haven't heard about YouTube so this fact emerges that it is not my favorite form of listening to music. Some years ago I discovered a new form of music file on the internet. It was the MP3. After that I used audio CDs with normal audio files. It wasn't so good because of the files. They were too big and you could have only ten or fifteen tracks on one CD. If you use MP3 files it is possible to have more then 100 tracks on one CD.This is why that's my zfavourit form of listening to music.Earlier we could hear MP3 files only on the computer. There weren't any MP3-players. But nowadays, these music players are widespread, nearly every second young people have one.MP3-players are better then the walkmans. They are smaller and you can have far more track on it. This is not only the best advantage about it but you can also change the tracks easily without writing a CD or something like that. You only have to contact your MP3-player with your computer and you can copy files to your music player from your PC. I think MP3 files are the best way of listening to music but on the other hand there are bad features of it too.On the interned you can download a lot of music files. There are torrent websites where you can find the latest music CDs but these websites are illegal. They don't have the right to upload anybody's song and we are not allowed to download them. This is bad for the singers. They can't sell their music CD due to the internet. On the web you can download it free, you don't have to pay for it any money. On the zcontray, in a music shop it may coasts four thousand forints. In other words MP3 files are bad for the singer (and for their producers) but good for the people who doesn't want to pay for listening to music. In my family we have two MP3-player. In the summer I used it for listening to music during sunbathing. I didn't have to carry an enormous zwalkmen with a lot of cassettes to the beach. I only brought a small MP3-player with a hundreds of tracks. Thus I thing MP3 files are better then the cassettes and the CDs but they can't zreprace a live concert. Live music makes an other kind of impression on you than a recorded sound. What comes to your mind if you hear the expression 'listening to music'? Going to live concerts? Or listening to walkman, CD players, MP3 or MP4 players? You can think about also YouTube. As you can see, chances are given. The only thing is what is your task is to choose the one which is the best for you. However, every possibility has advantages and disadvantages and I would like to introduce them.I prefer CDs and live concerts. Living in Kaposvár, I have to travel a lot to Pécs. When I'm on the bus and I don't have anything to learn, I usually listen to music on my CD-player. You put the disk into the CD-player and then you can enjoy the music.Live concerts are also favoured by me. Possibilities are given in Kaposvár and in Pécs, too. Although they are good, I think CDs are better than them. When you go to a concert, you have to pay a lot of money, your wallet or your mobile phone can be stolen in the crowd and you can be hurt. I usually go to this kind of event in summer with my friends or with my boyfriend. Thus, the best zchanches to me are CDs.Listening to CDs have advantages. You can select which part of the CD you want to listen instead of cassettes. They are more modern than walkmans and cassettes. Fortunately, a CD-player is not so expensive, and if you are lucky, your machine can also play MP3 music. I'm in a good situation because I have this kind of CD-player. Another advantage is, that the MP3 players memory is limited, but you can have as many CDs as you want.Nevertheless, it has also disadvantages. You have to carry a plenty of CDs with you, and the CDs can be easily hurt. Another thing is, that the CDs are usually very expensive. And you can lost your CDs. MP3 and MP4 players are more modern than CD players, they are smaller than it so you can carry them with you everywhere.I had a very strange story with my CD-player. I was travelling on the bus and I wanted to listen to music. When I started to look for my CDs, I realised that I lost them! I was very angry. But it was not enough, when I arrived in Pécs and went to the school on the bus, I didn't found my CD-player! It was lost. It wasn't a fortunate day.To sum up my essay, I can tell you that you have a great number of possibilities in listening to music. Your task is to choose the best for you. Every chance has advantages and disadvantages. Choose the best form, and enjoy the music!People work a lot nowadays. They are glad if they have some zfreetime. There are people who like spending this time actively but there are ones who prefer relaxing. If you belong to the last category, also then you can choose from a lot of possibilities. For instance you can sleep, watch TV listen to music etc. This at last mentioned chance is very popular nowadays. It has lots of forms you can choose from. For example you can visit live concerts, you can listen to zcasettes, CDs, MP3s, etc.As for me also I spent a lot of time with it, because it makes me relaxed and at that time I don't think of the everyday problems. I don't especially like live concerts because of the mobs, I prefer listening to my favourite songs and bands at home. Songs can be recorded on zcasettes, CDs etc and in a lot of format. My favorite format is MP3. It is not an old format yet but there are already a lot of new and better ones.Despite of this, I like it very much because a lot more songs can be put on a record in this format than in the earlier ones. Formerly what I had on 3 CDs or more I have on one. So you can spare a lot of rooms in this way both in your room and on your CDs. Of course its quality is as good as eg. a CD's if not better. In addition to it's a very popular and widespread format so you can get a lot of music in this type. Of course plenty of advantages of it could be mentioned. But despite of the fact it has numerous good features I don't think it will have long life because already now there are a lot of and better formats which have better features than it. But it is not all sure there will be durable because this field develop very quickly and has a great number of innovations in a short time. To tell you the truth I can't say against him because I haven't got any problems with it and I like it very much but I can deny there are better solutions on the market than it.I could tell you a lot of stories in connection with this theme because it is an zextremly popular thing among my friends, with whom together I spend a lot of time listening to it and downloading it in a very zpleasent atmosphere.Life without music would be very boring. I can't imagine my mornings without listening to radio or some of my favourite CD-s. Music always cheer me up and gives me positive energy for the whole day. When I am alone at home I usually listen to music very loudly. Even when I have to prepare for my exams, of course then I turn down the volume.Modern technology is zwonderfull and the MP3 players are fantastic achievements of our time. Their memory makes them capable to contain hundreds of songs (or data). You don't have to bring with yourself dozens of CDs, it's enough to have one of these small and smart devices and you can listen to your favourite song on the street, on the bus or if you want it even on the beach.Although you must be careful, especially when you are on the street. It can become very dangerous. It lows your attention and may cause accidents when you can hurt yourself. if you listening you MP3 player in a high volume it can even cause problems in your health damages in your hearing.I never ztravell without my MP3 player. I can't stand the long way home without music. But for me it has other advantages as well. I usually listen American or English singers or groups. With its help I can practice English, learn some new words or grammatical constructions in an zeasyer and more joyful way.In my opinion everybody has a favourite form of listening to music, so have I. I really like paying attention to the radio programme. It is the best form for me, because I don't have any MP3 player. If I have to travel, I just take my small radio and I can listen to anything I want. I also can use it at home or at school without disturbing anybody, because it works like a walkman. This kind of listening to music do not cost a penny. My most-liked feature of it is that I can listen to any kind of music. If I want to hear rock and roll, I turn to Sláger Radio. If I am in a bad mood, I can pay attention to Danubius Radio. It is always endless and I do not have to worry about CDs. Slow and quick zmusics can be found there, which is not common in the case of CDs. In the radio programmes there is the news, which makes music more interesting.Although, radio programmes do not always have a good quality. The broadcasts sometimes have mistakes. It is the most common, when I listen to music in a hilly place. Sometimes I can't hear anything and I have to change the programme. It is really disturbing, if my favourite song is broadcast. It happens many times with me, because I live in Pécs, where there are lots of hills.Last week I had to travel to Kecskemét by bus. I used my radio as usual. My mistake was that I fell asleep too early. The bus broke down and I didn't notice it. Everybody left the bus, but I didn't hear anything. The bus driver didn't notice me either and I was delivered to the bus station. I couldn't get to my grandparents that day. After this situation I decided that I don't listen to music, if I have to travel somewhere. My favourite form of listening to music is using my cell-phone, what has an in-built MP3 player with a memory card of size 512 MB. With high-quality headphones it sounds like a special stereo system. The usage of it is so simple, that even a little child could use it. The tracks can be removed and uploaded with the help of an appropriate cable and a PC.The best feature of it - in my opinion - is that it's absolutely mobile and has a size of an average cell-phone. I can take it with me and use it almost everywhere as it has a battery with so much energy in it, that I have to charge it only two times a week for a couple of hours. On the other side, it has some bad features as well. For example it is difficult to get appropriate accessories to it in mobile shops, as for the usage of it, it needs a special adapter and memory card. So instead of running from shop to shop for the accessories, which breaks down, I order them from the internet even for less money, than for how much I could get them in shops. My story about my cell-phone-MP3 player is quite funny and shows how zunconcentrated I can be sometimes. For about half a year ago I was packing my basketball stuff to my bag as I was heading off to my daily practice. As it was usual I turned the music on my phone and put the headphones on before stepping out the door. When I was halfway to the court I "realized" that I left my phone at home even I was listening to it since I left home. I rushed back to my house, looked for the mobile for at least 15 minutes, when it suddenly fell out from my pocket. Then I started laughing and ran back to practice. It is a fact that there is nobody who doesn't like listening to music in this World. There are many sorts of music and way of listening it, so everyone can find the most zsuiteable. I couldn't imagine my life without it. My favourite form for that is just sitting and relaxing on my bed and choosing one from my collection. But sometimes I feel like going to concerts, and in every year there is a special occasion, it's called SZIGET. So I want to write about my good and bad views about it.I was first here last year and it was so hot. There were a lot of people who had various nationalities and features. These people who go there are very open-minded so if you want you can practise your foreign language. It is a good point of meeting new fellows.Sziget has bad features as well. When it rains, you have no chance to go under a roof that may provide you a shelter from getting wet. The only thing you have is your tent. The second bad thing is the very high prices. I had to work during the whole summer to afford it. I spent all the money I earned during two months in one week! But at that time I didn't care about it.In every year zSzigethomers have a new custom or idea. Last time the foreigners circled around the area with a noticeboard or just a notice and with a description on it, it said: FREE HUG! So one of them came to us and then we met. It was very funny and easy to have new friends. To summarize my thoughts, Sziget (the Island as foreigners called) is a small world in our country, where you can find different nations and customs, and it is a great place to enjoy the real music that comes not from your CD-player but the singers themselves. And you can feel that they are singing just for you.My favourite form of listening to music is listen to the radio and listen to my CDs. I like radio programs, because I can follow the music trend. Radio1 is the best I think, but I like also Danubius Radio, because there are a lot of humorous people in it. In my opinion everybody likes CDs because everybody could listen everything, so people could listen what they want.Naturally, everybody can find good features about his / her favourite form of listening to music. The most important thing for me, that I can listen to my favourite music when I want. Usually, I do it at home while I'm doing the housework or when I just want to relax, but sometimes I bring my discman to the school and I use it when I'm bored. I do not use it during the lessons of course. To my mind bad features are less. Maybe the worst is, that discmans are big and it can be very uncomfortable to take them on the street or on a crowded bus. Unfortunately I don't have any MP3 player, because it is very expensive for me, but I would like one very much.I have a nice story. It was on the 19th of december in 2006. I had no more exams on that year, so I decided that I make a party at home in Pécs. I have a big hi-fi system and a small radio with a CD. Obviously, we listened to my hi-fi system, but neighbours were disturbed. One of my friends made up that we should put my small radio before the window, because there are no wall so any neighbours couldn't say anything. The problem just was, that the last guest arrived after these happenings and when I opened the window saying hello I pushed down my favourite small radio from the first floor. It was my nice, but in fact my sad story.Music is very important in my life. If I don't listen to music almost all day I will feel bad. It has a good effect on me. I hear my favourite singers on my computer, because I don't have any other player. I love listening to music outside. I have bought an MP3 player last year and it is always with me. I don't like quiet music, but if I'm tired I just turn the volume down and it will be loudness.MP3 player is a very useful form of listening to my favourite singers. I can always carry it with me and I can use it on the bus, the train or when I take my dog for a walk. When I decide to go to my fitness room it helps me to be fit, because after cycle my bike I don't feel any tiredness.I can't tell a lot of bad feature of it because I'm always very afraid. I don't listen to it in big transport because it can be very dangerous in this places. I'm very angry when my zbottous will zampty. So I always carry two or three of it with me. I like this form, but I don't like when people hear what I'm listening to on the bus, or in the street. My friend has always a player and it is the same to me. One day after my literature exam I was very happy that I can go home, sleep and listen to The Beatles. I said 'Hello' my friend and went to the bus. I turned my player on and turned the volume up and I heard: "What is this?" It is not my music! We changed our player and I had to listen house music. It was horrible. My friend didn't explore it and when I told her it we laugh all day.My favorite form of listening to music is to go to a concert. I think it is the best way of it, because there are other people too and you can feel the music together with them. The band is there and you can feel that they play for you. It is a personal and social experience. My other favorite form is to sit or lay down in my room, turn off the light and switch on the CD player. When it is dark you hear the voices better. To go to a concert is good, because you can be with your friends. The music is not the same as on the CDs, it's a little bit different, it is not a record, it is live and real. It is very rare that a band play in a concert as good as on the CD. But to be on a concert can be a very good feeling. The bad thing is that if you would like to go to a concert of a famous band or singer, the tickets are very expensive. And sometimes there are no possibility. For example in case of American bands, who have never been in Europe. So it is in some cases difficult. In summer are many concerts in Pécs, not so famous musicians but they can show their talent and their music. Last summer we went to the city with my friends to bring together the evening. We went to a concert. The band played zcaribian music. We have never heard from them before, they played very well. The whole audience danced through the night. It was a very good experience. I will never forget it.I am just a person who can not imagine her life without music. It is a part of my life. There is no day in my life that goes by without listening to music. I have cassettes and CDs as well, but my favorite form of listening to music is to go to live concerts. From my childhood I have been in many concerts, as I were playing the piano and the music school organized concerts many times. Now, I zusully go to concerts with my friends, we choose free concerts, fortunately there is a lot of them. We love pop and classical concerts, too.Live concerts have advantages and disadvantages, as well. One of its advantages is that you can see the performer. She / he is standing on the stage, near to you, not in a newspaper, but in front of you. You can see how she / he sings, dances, hence the performer gets closer to you. They create a good atmosphere, there is a special feeling in a live concert. Everybody is dancing and singing, and they make you sing too.Their disadvantage can be, if the singer uses playback. I think it's very disgusting, because if I bought the expensive ticket, than I can expect them to sing. If the audience realizes that she / he is mute, just their mouth are moving, it makes a great indignation among the people because they feel deceived. If it is a big star who cheats, it usually appears in the newspapers. Another bad thing is, when there are a lot of people in front of you, and you cannot see a thing. it is very annoying. My last experience of concerts was in December. Some of my friends and I went to the cathedral in Pécs, where there was a beautiful christmas concert. A grammar school organized it, there was a choir and other students who played in different instruments. It was very good, because after the exams they turned me to the 'christmas mood'. There was only one problem, that we could hardly see them. By the time we arrived, there was a mass in the church, it was very crowded. But, after all, it was a nice experience for me.In the z21th century there are many ways of listening to music from the live concerts to the recorded albums, tapes or CDs. The newest of them is a possibility on the internet, called YouTube. This invention allows you to enjoy your favourite tracks with the eyes too. It contains thousands of video files, videoclips generally. This way of listening to music is quite sympathetic to me, but live shows remain my favourites. Since the beginning of music it's the most effective way to provide the musicians' work to the audience called fans nowadays. These gigs are really popular which fact is indicated by the number of the shows played by an active band per year. It may reach 200 or even 250.Live concerts have several benefit to the audience and the artists too. For example in Hungary the most part of musicians' income originates from the ticket-selling. I think this is the most important of good features because without this earnings the authors would be able to perform their tracks fewer and their another occupations don't let them to write music with 100% effort. So beside that "the magic of the live music" could be only the second one among the positive features of this way of music in my opinion. These concerts have some negative characteristics too. The most significant is quality of sound. We have a rock band and we had to face with this problem many times. You have to know the studio tracks to enjoy the concert because the sound doesn't allows you to do that. Lost melodies, earscratching treble and heartshaking bass: this is the list of the negatives. My best story about concerts is an InFlames gig in Petőfi Csarnok in the last April. The amazing show includes perfect sound, ideal visual effects (lights and pyrotechnique). The 5-6000 of people enjoy the whole show. It was a really professional performance from a really professional band.My favorite form of listening to music is MP3. MP3 is for computers and it is available for example on the internet. It was zoriginaly made for PCs and as far as I know it does not need as much place on the driver as others (like zaudiotracks). It only can be played in MP3 players, which can be on your computer, or in a hi-fi. Nowadays you can buy a portable MP3 player as well. The best feature of it is maybe that it is cheaper than other forms of music (I mean CDs, cassettes). While you nearly pay 3000-5000 Fts for a CD an album in MP3 only costs for 1000-2000 Ft. Another way to get MP3 is zuseing file changing programs like BCDC or DC++. This way is much more affordable. In this case you only need internet and the program, you do not have to pay for downloading music. The only bad feature of it is that you can zaccidentaly download some virus with the MP3, but if you have a virus detector on your PC it will not be a problem. In my opinion it happens only in a few cases, because MP3s on the paying webpages are not infected, and MP3's on the file changing programs are always have to be detected before you share it with the others. Last year we organised a party. We had some problems with the music. Some of us wanted to use CDs, and some of us zprefered MP3s. The first group did not know MP3 at that time, so we told them the good features of it. We told them that we would have a bigger choice of music if we use MP3s. Finally we choose MP3. We brought a computer to the "party place" and the ones who wanted to listen CDs before were really zsuprised on the great quality and choice of the MP3s.Music is all around us. Everybody listens to music but not to the same sort of it. I like a lot of type of music: classical, rock, pop, techno, etc. We can also choose the forms of listening to it. Someone prefers the live concerts because of the "incredible feeling", others zeighter buy CDs or cassettes and enjoy their favourite bands at home. Nowadays I select the computer-form, the YouTube. You can find YouTube on http://www.youtube.com/, where anybody can upload music. There are lots of clips from famous bands, from pop idols or your own videos. One advantage of YouTube is that after the registration on this website you can not only download but upload music videos as well. It doesn't depends on who sings. :) Other pro is that you don't have to buy a CD, which is very expensive. Just one "click" and an Internet-access, of course. It is very difficult to mention disadvantages. The quality of the clips isn't the best and the search-program not always functions. If you type the title of your song zchoosen to the right gap on the site this program may find it for you. May - because "everyday-people" upload these songs and they not always know the correct title... And if you miss just one letter, the program won't find your music. But I like YouTube very much. My little sister showed me in September this website. If we have free-time we just surf on the Net. Unfortunately, we aren't so good in technology, so as we bought our new computer, we didn't have Winamp. We searched for a music program and found YouTube. Nowadays I listen there to funny videos in this "stressing" life. :) Once I found a clip of a Dutch TV-show where the moderator laughed on his guest who had a tragedy. The wife of the guest had a car-accident, after that she wasn't able to walk. This story is sad but the voice of the man was zeighter funny, :) so the presenter of the show had to laugh. I hope, YouTube will be developed later on and then I'm going to decide on it, as well.I guess that every people likes music and has favourite style of music. Girls and boys, men and women, the old and even little children listen to some kind of music. It does not depend on their age. They turn on their radios, television, walkmans or even their zmobilephones and pay attention to their favourite records. Music can be found everywhere, from South to North America, from Europe to Africa..., everywhere. Tribes, which live in the nature at variant parts of the world also have traditional music. Music is on the buses, at the supermarkets and at the restaurants.Of course, as we are different, we like different kinds of music. Old people like music of their own period, music of the 60's or 70's; our parents like music of the 80's and 90's. But it is not only contingent on our age, it hangs on our individuality too. For example, I like a wide range of music, R'n'B, techno, house, pop music etc. If a melody is good I do not mind if it is country music or pop-rock.If I listen to music I usually like to do it loudly. I turn on my computer and put its volume on the maximum. When I travel I often listen to my MP3-player, also loudly. I really like listening to my MP3-player, that is my favourite. Listening to music loudly on the bus is very good and pleasant because you cannot hear people talking about fool stories. I hate when old ladies are talking about how clever their grandchildren are. Besides I cannot stand the sound of the noisy buses. So it is better to listen to some good music.I think that the only bad feature of listening to music so loudly is that it can make damage in our ears. That is one cause why there are too much people with bad hearing. There are many young boys and girls who are listening to MP3-, CD-players and walkmans loudly. It may be pleasant but can make a harm in communication. I mean if somebody talks to us we won't be able to hear him / her and he / she will think that we are rude. Despite this I like loud music. That is my life.In my opinion, listening to music is an excellent pastime. Most people like it a lot. I am a great music-fan, I listen almost all kind of it. When I am at home, in my flat or during travelling, I always prefer this sort of "hobby".When I am alone in my room, I turn up the sound and sing alone. This is the best for me. Unfortunately, I haven't been to so many concerts, but to my mind there is nothing better than having fun at a live rock concert.I often download songs from Internet, then I collect them and write on CDs. Thus I can listen to my favourite bands at any time. There is nothing wrong with this, until some kind of virus will be added to that certain downloading. As i have already mentioned before, I like listening to music loud. In this way I can experience myself in the world of that song, the tunes and the dynamic of it. I am getting feel good and my problems seem to be trivial. But it is not sure, that my neighbours also consider this in the same way. For them, mainly if they are older, it is usually annoying and disturbing, especially living in blocks of flats. Moreover, after 10 o'clock at night it proves to be illegal disturbing other people's silence living around us. Yet, this often happens at the place I live, because of the different clubs and discos. I haven't committed this illicit act, but I would never do it, too, learning from a story one of my friends. She told me that last year some of them organized a party in her flat. It was lasting all night long and they were so tactless to their environment, that their neighbours got together and called the police. As I remember, they had to pay 30000 Fts fine for their zunresponsibility. Since then they think twice, where and how they have fun.Summing up, there are several ways to listening to music. We can always find the right opportunity, taking the possibilities into consideration. Just we should note that: we can feel really the best, as long as we don't "hurt" others with our habits.I like listening to music when I am in a good mood and I am surrounded with lots of people. The best way for it is live concert. It has a special feeling. You can zimagene a huge room which is full of people. Everybody is happy. They sing and move together. The music is loud and the mood of the people get higher and higher by the time. Isn't it fantastic? In my opinion the best feature of it that you can be together with your friends. You can dress up and go out with them. I think it is much better to enjoy the music with other people, while I have the opportunity to meet my favourite band in live, than to sit at home where I can be everyday. We have something common, something what we can share with each other.Unfortunately everything has a bad side, so it does. You can go anywhere you will find people who cannot behave. They drink too much and they look for trouble. A concert is an ideal place for them. It is really disturbing when somebody insult you without doing anything. You just cannot stop them. One of my friends has a band and they had a concert last year. It was their first concert so everybody was very excited. Everybody in our little group went to see them. Naturally it wasn't something big and there weren't too much people but we enjoyed it so much.Being on the move is my preferable way of existence. Comfortable shoes, casual wear, a loose jacket and portable music. I like to extend the limits of my perception of the world around me by simply adding music to the visual. All I have to do is to tune my head to a harmony of what I see and what I hear - the term listening is not valid anymore because both the visual and the zauditive is an involuntary intrusion.A portable device is accessible in many forms, like Walkmans, CDs, MP3s etc. but as long as I can take it me - or it takes me - I don't mind its size nor the quality of the otherwise-carefully-zchoosen music. It's good company. It helps me in drifting... When I set off from home, my day is programmed; I have several tasks to accomplish: everything seem predictable. But as soon as I put on my headphones this predictability turns itself into a pure coincidence of sounds and images: a strange force becomes familiar, an zembarassing situation one that can be exploited, loss becomes profit.Of course the inclusion of music into my existence may lead to an exclusion of certain down-to-earth experiences which otherwise wouldn't being taken into account seriously. A loss should remain a loss, a stranger a stranger and you shouldn't leave your next door neighbour staring at his voiceless articulation delightedly, neglecting his complaint or whatever without wishing him a happy new year, or should you? Yes, headphones should definitely be taken off to listen to your wife's complaints, your children's "whys" and the birds in your garden - the basic units of music. Don't forget to feed the poor little ones in winter. On the move, the flow of music through your ears drifts you to places you've never been to, drags you, tortures you and gives you back to who you really are or could be.Extraordinary though it may seem, forms of listening to music developed more than anything during the last few years. Most people especially students have some kind of electric stuff that provides music. My favourite form of listening to music is the MP3 player. However it's not the most modern form, my opinion is that this is the most practical one. You don't need any CDs or cassettes that may need a lot of place in your room or bag. While using a PC the only thing I have to do is to upload the chosen tracks on the MP3 player. The best idea in these small machines is that I can make my own playlist. I don't have to deal with zchangeing the CD if I want to listen to another artist. On the other hand, when I am fed up with the songs on my player it's the easiest thing to create a new playlist. Furthermore MP3 players are small and sized in a way that you can keep them in your pocket if you are on your way.On the contrary uploading can be zdangrous too, in as much as you can upload some viruses on your PC and such a coincidence can damage the software of your MP3 player. According to this you always have to be aware when you connect your MP3 player to an unknown PC.I bought my MP3 player last summer as I have been working in the US and I had the opportunity to visit the Mall of America. Last year IPODs and PSPs became very fashionable in the States, so I could by my little MP3 player relatively cheap. I am sure it was a good choice because I do not need pictures or videogames, only my favourite songs in a tiny box.Music is what should be part of everybody's life. I can't live without listening to music or playing it. About two months ago I bought an MP3 player. Since than I go nowhere without that. In the '90s I had many cassettes and a walkman. Than it turned to the age of discmans and CDs. But today rarely can be found a man, especially youngsters without an MP3-player. I like it, because I can easily find favourite tracks on the Internet, and make me a playlist choosing the music according to my actual mood. The MP3 form of music can be listened many ways - you can write it on disks, use an MP3 player or just on the computer. I'm an addict of music. :)MP3s are known widespread. people can download tracks from the Net. Of course it is stealing, cheating, but the possibility is given, there's no punishment and cheaper than buying an original cassette or CD and not everyone can afford to have a CD-collection. MP3-players are so small that people can put it into their pockets and bring it with them anywhere. There's the opportunity to make a unique playlist and listen to that kind of music that the zindividuum wants. The list can be changes easily if there is a computer. I know, there are already rewritable disks, but after a while it goes wrong and a discman is big and a bit heavier. MP3 is free :), and you just have to buy new batteries or recharge zrechargable ones.People listening to music on the streets, during walking, especially in crowded streets are in danger. If they listen to it so loud, they don't hear, don't receive the effects of the environment and maybe they will have an accident or they won't realise when somebody calls them, warn them. Maybe this form of listening to music can cause temporary hearing-problems it it is too loud. MP3s are free but the quality is worse then an original track's. You can listen MP3s not only at home on your computer, it is good, but you can only change the playlist if you have a PC.I love listening to music. I think that my life is a film and sometimes I hear a track that is considered to be the soundtrack of my movie. It often happens that I'm travelling by train and I'm just looking out the window listening to 'THE MUSIC' and it just changes my mood. It's a kind of magic. Once I went home at night. It was raining, there was nobody on the streets and I was listening the same track repeated. I was dancing on the street, singing and I jumped into the water. Everything was 'orange' and full of energy as the music. I was free and I felt I could fly. Then I entered my room, I throw down my wet clothes and had a hot bath... I was still singing... That time that track was the soundtrack of my life. There are, of course, many different ways of listening to music. My favorites are live concerts and CDs. Luckily, I have a diverse taste as far as music is concerned. I've got many CDs and DVDs. Moreover I play a musical instrument myself as well. Usually, I go to concerts once in a year to see my favourite band playing alive. YouTube is a very interesting site on the internet. The site contains various music video clips and funny home videos. People can download music in a fragment of a second and that makes a site so popular among the zyout. The good thing about live music is that I can encounter with my favorite artist and see them performing live. On the other hand, I can meet with people with the same musical taste. I like CDs because they contain the lyrics of the band and it is a good way of learning the language as well as to get some background information on the group. As for the bad feature of participating in a live event is that the music is so loud that you can hardly hear other people around you. Usually, I wear ear-plugs during the show. At home I don't need to use this kind of things because I can either higher or lower the volume of the stereo. Moreover, I can do different kind of activity such as washing up, cooking and still listen to my favorite music. When I was younger I had a friend who introduced heavy music to me. It influenced me in a way that up to this point I still a fan of this kind of music. Although I like heavy music the best, jazz and hungarian folk music also impressed me a lot. Recently, I've had the chance to see a hungarian folk band called Muzsikás. The show was impressing and I had made lot of friends during the concert.Nowadays people choose listening music in a lot of way and mode. One of my favourite is when I am at home, the flat is empty and silent and I can concentrate on only the melody. Sometimes I am doing my homework or housework when I switch on the radio or I pay attention my walkman during jogging or travelling. In my opinion the bests are the live concerts, rarely I visit with my friends or with my family a place in order to listen a good zrectival. That is so different if you sit in a room and enjoy classical music. You can watch the orchestra, the soloist and the instruments. It gives better feelings than you hear a track from CD. But these concerts are so expensive that many people can't afford it themselves, so they choose MP3 players. The advantage of it is you can change the zmusics on it and this is small enough to take it in your bag. Walkmans have also mobility, you can bring it everywhere, but these are a bit bigger, than MP3 players.CDs, cassettes and MP3s are also not too cheap. Most people, who have internet, downloads music from free websites. They usually know, they use it illegally and it is like stealing, but it is low-priced than the CDs in the shops. The quality of these kind of zmusics are not the same with the original CDs.I like listening melodies not only at home, I take my MP3 player everywhere. If I have a little spare time at school or in the evening, I switch it on and enjoy my favourite zmusics. I usually travel at weekends with my friend and we listen it together as long as we get home.Listening to music became an important part of my life. There are a lot of activities that I can't imagine to do without it. Nowadays I listen to music when I'm travelling, studying, having a bath or doing the washing up. However I used to be a couch potato, who sat in front of the TV watching silly soap operas and I wasn't interested in music at all. I got my first walkman when I was fourteen, but as years went by it came out of date and now I have an MP3 player, which is my "partner" to everywhere. It is a little equipment, which allows you to listen to music comfortably, as it is so small that you can have it on you almost everywhere. It took the place of CD players.I love MP3 players very much. You can find nowadays more and more smaller ones in shops, which makes it easy to take them where ever you want. You can put it in your pocket or just hang on your neck. One of the greatest advantages is that you can have hundreds of tracks on them and not only tracks but pictures and documents from your computer, too. So you don't need a floppy or pendrive when you want to print something. On most of the MP3 players you can listen to the radio, too which was not among the functions of CD players. We can hardly find bad features of it. It works with battery, so it's not a cheap form of spending free time if you listen to music frequently. Another black point is that to put tracks on an MP3 player you need to have a computer as without it it's impossible.I have an MP3 player for a year which was bought by my sister in Spain. She was so kind that she gave it to me as I travel a lot every week and it is much more practical to take it with me than my CD player. I like it very much as I can easily take off the tracks that are on it but I'm bored with and put on new ones that I get like, although I couldn't do it with the CDs. I like almost all forms of listening to music, like live concerts, CDs or YouTube, but MP3 is my favourite one, as I have it with me always, so for example when I'm sad it's there to listen to my favourites.Listening to music is very important for me. I listen to my MP3 player when I can, despite that my favourite form of listening to music is live concert. Although it is not only about listening to music, but to have fun with friends. I like concerts, because they are good shows. The colourful lights, the special effects and the dancers opens a new way of understanding the music. It is not only about listening to music, but we can enjoy the event with all of our senses. For me the best in a concert is that I can see the star and I can hear him / her singing live. And if I am lucky I can take some souvenir with me (for example a balloon) what can help me to remember for that episode of my life. In my opinion every concert is a unique occasion, it can not be repeated, even if we are at the same band's concert at the same time, we won't feel the same, what we felt during the previous concert. On the other hand going to concerts is the most expensive way to listening to music. Not only the tickets are very expensive, but very often the costs of travelling are expensive as well. We often have to travel more than one hundred kilometers, and we should also pay for the zaccomodation. Unfortunately because of these reasons sometimes we can not afford to go to a concert.Last year I was at a fantastic concert with two of my friends. It was really good. The lights were very beautiful. And we loved the music that was played. I think that everybody should go to concerts. It is the best way to go out, and to do what we like: listening to music.I'm keen on listening to music in almost any form. To be frank, I love music and I couldn't live without it. One of my favourite forms of it is live concerts. I think, there's nothing else that cane be compared to live music and its wonderful effects. It provides a lot of fun as well as an unforgettable experience. It's about people gather together - mainly good friends - who are eager to hear their favourite band's music. Live concerts can also be characterized as a kind of congregation containing crowds of people who are standing in front of a huge big or smaller stage and waiting for the show to start.I'm of the opinion that live concert is just like a big show and that's only a good point of it. I mainly appreciate that it is totally live, however there are some exceptions. I mean, singers don't just pretend that they are on the stage and sing but the sound effect and the music is completely live and being played during the performance. That's why, listeners or the fans can feel the real value of live music. There are also some drawbacks of being at a live concert. I've heard several cases when shows were postponed and fans didn't even get back their money. I think, it's the organizers who should be blamed for such incidents. It might be ridiculous or even disappointing for the fans who wanted to see their idols but were cheated instead.I'm fortunately could go to some really good live concerts. A couple of years ago I took part in a terribly exciting concert in Budapest. I wanted to go there because of my favourite pop band. This concert was live, of course, and had made me feel very pleased since, as it turned out, I could also support people who were victims of floods in Romania by paying for the tickets. Having been there I realised that live concerts are far more enjoyable, besides their higher prices, than stay at home and listen to music from a CD player. It's because concerts make the people gather and share their joy.Let's have a quick overview on the 21st century with some special features of it. We can talk now about computerization, internet, violence, cyberspace, brand new trends, new thoughts and the greatest invention of the new century MP3. MP3 is a specially new mode of listening to music. Before MP3 have existed people had to use compact disc, useless cassettes and huge machines to enjoy the joy of music. What you have now are just zdatas which build the structure of music. The MP3 player can be used everywhere because it's small and now available for everyone.I consider MP3 the best invention in the history of music because all people have the access for it who can use a PC and internet. You just have to click on an icon and download a program and music and the magic begins. MP3s are very comfortable. You can reach it everywhere in the world and you don't have to leave your warm room either to get it. An internet access is perfectly enough to download your favourite music from thousands of different ports, websites. You don't even have to pay for it. Let's compare a CD player with an MP3 player. An MP3 player is small, it doesn't need a battery because your PC charges it, you can change the music in it whenever you want so you don't have to spend your money on recordable CDs.On the other hand MP3s have negative features too. The quality of the downloaded music is sometimes awful. MP3s are kept in the PC so if the hard drive goes wrong every music and data in the PC will be lost. And the illegal downloads have to be mentioned. Most people download music illegally with special programs in other words they steal music and money from the producers and this is a crime. Some people uploads brand new music to the internet zinspite of that it isn't even published.I love MP3s because they are easy to use and very comfortable but I have troubles with it znowdays. My PC is seriously infected by viruses so I can't use it and that means I can't listen to my favourite songs for the result of that every music of mine is kept on my PC. I've collected my music for a very long time so I'm afraid all of my zunreplaceable values will be lost.I always liked listening to music, at the early ages I did not care about, what type of machine I used for listening to music. But clearly, when I was 7 years old the scale of the machines was not so wide as today - I remember I was listening an Abba cassette on a red and pink walkman. Now, years later I prefer live concerts. I think it is the best way to experience music, but it is an experience which you have to share with others. Why do I like live concerts? A great advantage of them that you can see the band you are a fan of - of course you can see them on a music video too, but that is totally different. At a live concert, I think you can totally give yourself to the music you like. You can go with your friends and you can enjoy the songs together. Sometimes a concert can be a really nice memory which worth to remember - like the KFT concert at the Volt Festival last year. It was so powerful and enjoyable, that I will never forget it. Of course, I can also agree with those who do not like live concerts, because in my opinion there is no other form of listening to music which would have so much disadvantages as concerts. To begin with you always have to take care of yourself, because it is natural to have people around you who only enjoy a concert when they are drunk. It is not so good to have an zarguement with a drunken guy... Another disadvantage could be, when an almost two meters tall person stands in front of you. /Believe me, I am just 1,6 meter tall.../With all its advantages and disadvantages, I like live music. My favourite story is in connection to the Volt Festival in Sopron, 2006 and a band, which I heard there first time. It was the first day of the festival. Me and my friend decided to take a look around, try to find all the stages, have something to drink etc. As we were walking, some very great melodies caught our attention. We went closer; a beautiful voiced woman was singing jazz-based songs. Between two songs, she stopped and said: "Look at the moon, how beautiful it shines tonight...". Everybody turned to the moon with a smile on their face. That was the point, when it turned clear to me that I really like live concerts. My favourite form of listening to music are live concerts. Live concert is a big party. There are a lot of people, they are happy and sometimes crazy. This live concerts can cheer me up. You can listening to music in live. You can meet your zfavorit rock star.It is good because you can have new friends, you can get to know other people. It is one of the most entertaining things in the z21th century. There are fun-clubs where you can talk with other people about your zfavorit band. Fun-club is a zrelativly new thing, it is a small or big group of people who like the same music. Live concerts are successful because people can know the personality of their zfavorit star. However live concerts have disadvantages too. For example it is sometimes expensive. You have to buy the tickets before the concert. If it is an outdoor concert the program depends on the weather. It is an other problem that you will ill one day before the concert and you have to stay at home. These live concerts can damage your ears and there are sometimes rude and drunk people who want to make conflict with the others.I was at a Zanzibar concert. It was real good. I was with my friends. Everybody was happy and excited. We had a good time together. I wanted to be very pretty because I had a new boyfriend and I tried on my mothers ring, it was a bit big but I wore it. Of course I left the ring but my friend found it in his shoe. I did not understand how could the ring fall in his shoe.If I could, I would always listen to music. What I prefer is going to live concerts, because they have an own feeling and it is an opportunity to feel free, go out with friends, dance or shake your head in a real rock concert.Unfortunately it is not possible to spend all our time in different kinds of concerts, but thanks God, technical development help us to listen to music everywhere. For example my other favourite form of listening to music is MP3 player. I take my player with me if I travel to Pécs by train or bus. What is a good feature of it? It has almost only good characteristics. It makes people happy, it is never boring, and if I listen to music, I am not interested in what is happening around me, and I don't listen to people who are talking loudly about their family, job, thoughts or they are not satisfied with the Hungarian political system. I hope, it doesn't mean that I am antisocial and I am really not interested in people, because it's not true, I just need sometimes to be alone. Music can have more good features: we develop our general knowledge if we know different styles and singers, and music can be a good topic for talking to someone. Classical music can help us to make up our mind.Of course, as everything, it also could have bad features. It is not a general situation, but if we would always listen to music, we could lose our friends.Nowadays almost everybody has a discman or MP3 player, they listen to it everywhere and not realize what is happening around them. It can be also positive and negative feature. That's one side of music, but there is a different situation with live concerts. There you can't be alone, and that's the beauty in it. It can close people to each other.First, when I went to a live concert, I went with a friend. Then we met, and knew new people who joined us and since then we always go to a concert together. It is a good group thanks for the music. We have similar music styles and the importance is that we are together. As I said I love live concerts and MP3 music, but they are very different. The beauty of a concert is that you are among friends and the beauty of the MP3 is that you are alone.Every music style have it's own characteristic and beauty, one can help to concentrate, one to feel free, people just have to find their own style.People should listen to music when they are happy, or sad, whether they are alone or with friends, because music is everywhere. I flow like a feather. I feel the beauty, the freedom, the spirit of liberty. I zspred my wing and try to fly away with that unique "little something" in my heart. I'm a part of the whole but I can't forget that I'm an individual. We breath together, we scream together, we cry together and sometimes we are out of zcontroll. We've got something in common. We love music, or we are music enthusiasts. Who are we? We are... I don't like the expression public but this word fits best here. Hopefully. It's also hard to depict the atmosphere when you are a part of a big live concert but it is for sure that it is fabulous and that's why it's my favourite form of listening to the music. In our consumer society is hard to find something genuine, something worth to be zappretiated, something which has validity and value. Music is a pure source, if we are seeking for valuable things. Live music is a gift in this globalized word. Real voices, real instruments zguarantes good entertaining or relaxing. If we need something to refresh our brain and soul the music is the best choice. Live concerts give us treasure moments which is worth to remember in green afternoons our just to talk about it with friend after the concert / the show is over.Hardly can I enumerate any bad feature of live concerts maybe because I'm a big fan of it. Money. "Money makes the word go round." The tickets are expensive we have to pay the artist's work and name. The famous, zwordwide known groups has their own price and if we want to take part on their performance we have to pay. Another unpleasant feature of big live concerts held by famous singers that the mass could "destroy" you. It's not so fantastic when you realize that some parts of your clothing is torn. One of the most important experience I had about concerts happened last year in September. I had an opportunity to hear Hot Jazz Band one of my favourite jazz band. I sway with the music, it was zirrisitable and funny, we danced and laughed with the musicians and after the concert I spoke with them.To tell the truth I adore listening to music, but zunfortunatelly I do not really have enough time to do that. When I have free time, I put a CD into my hi-fi set, I lay on my bed, try to relax and forget about all of the bad things that happened. In my opinion the best form of listening to music is to listening to CD. If people take care of them, they can be used for a very long time, they are particularly cheap, they are reachable, their qualities are good, they are easy to handle with. Moreover, they are small and thin, you can have place for it everywhere, in your car, in your room, in your bag and on your shelf. I think CD reflects the improvement and technology and of course the zneccessity of having fun. People still need and like going out, dancing or just listening to music during a dinner or a date. Music will be important in people's life and take a serious part of entertainment always. You just put in a CD and the party or just relaxing starts. Besides that it zchears you up it makes you calm, balanced and happy. We can say that CD is one of the most significant, most important and most valuable discovery in the 20th century. On the other hand CD has some disadvantages that can influences its future badly. As we all know there will be always newer, easier, smaller and more practical objects, the previous one will be good as well but not anymore "perfect" and the "best". Thanks to experts and the improvement of technology we can get to know and buy newer and more improved objects almost every month. According to people CD is very useful and practical, there are a lot of advantages of it, but MP3 is more fashionable. zAlthought it is more expensive and complicated, it is cute, really smart, smaller, "cool" and can be used almost forever. It cannot be injured as easily as CD. That is why CD is good but not so significant and perfect as it was before the appearance of MP3. Besides we cannot forget about teenagers who make competition about having newer and cooler CD player and MP3 player among each other. Of course it is wonderful for the firms but it makes the process of the CD's disappear more rapid. So, this is the bad future of CD, but I do not really care about it. It does not matter what new object is going to be discovered, I will listening to CD until I can.To tell the truth I did not like it at first. I am quite neglect and lazy, so I was afraid of that I will destroy them rapidly or I will just not find it in my room because of the mess. Then I realized that zinspite of the fact it is small and thin it can be kept and found simply and can be used much longer than cassettes. Their quality are better and to be honest they are smarter. So I did not need much time to get to love it and use it when I can without any problem. The way people can listening to music is fortunately wide. Everything develops all over the world, the musical instruments aren't exceptions from it too. Everybody can chose easily among them. But the most important is the love of the music, the form is less important, because every form gives near almost the same experience. Although almost the same, but not the same. We couldn't compare a live concert and a walkman's track. I prefer going to live concerts to listening cassettes. As some may say love is in the air, we can say music is in the air, because concerts are so loud that a lot of people can hear at the same time. Going to live concerts is better than the others, because it can be a common activity, a common programme, while the other forms of listening to music we just do it alone. Being together is far better than doing something alone.Unfortunately there are bad points to live concerts because sometimes it's not cheap and depends on time and weather. But at the same time to the walkman needs battery and very often it has to change so it's not better either. zValueable if we go to a concert than we sit in the room in a settee and just listening to music. Our society is consumer society and to the shop is better if they can sell a lot of walkmans, CD players and MP3 players. If we look in this aspect it is worth going to concerts.Always a memory for me if I can go to a concert that my favourite music band holds. I'm a fan of them. They always gives fantastic shows and with my friends screaming in the first row. I always buy their CDs and that's why I have to travel a lot I can listening to music with my CD player. Music made me happier that's the reason why I'm a music fan.
