In the z21th century there are many ways of listening to music from the live concerts to the recorded albums, tapes or CDs. The newest of them is a possibility on the internet, called YouTube. This invention allows you to enjoy your favourite tracks with the eyes too. It contains thousands of video files, videoclips generally. This way of listening to music is quite sympathetic to me, but live shows remain my favourites. Since the beginning of music it's the most effective way to provide the musicians' work to the audience called fans nowadays. These gigs are really popular which fact is indicated by the number of the shows played by an active band per year. It may reach 200 or even 250.

Live concerts have several benefit to the audience and the artists too. For example in Hungary the most part of musicians' income originates from the ticket-selling. I think this is the most important of good features because without this earnings the authors would be able to perform their tracks fewer and their another occupations don't let them to write music with 100% effort. So beside that "the magic of the live music" could be only the second one among the positive features of this way of music in my opinion.

These concerts have some negative characteristics too. The most significant is quality of sound. We have a rock band and we had to face with this problem many times. You have to know the studio tracks to enjoy the concert because the sound doesn't allows you to do that. Lost melodies, earscratching treble and heartshaking bass: this is the list of the negatives.

My best story about concerts is an InFlames gig in Petofi Csarnok in the last April. The amazing show includes perfect sound, ideal visual effects (lights and pyrotechnique). The 5-6000 of people enjoy the whole show. It was a really professional performance from a really professional band.
